Description
Taken through the window of a condemned house.Housing where I live is at a premium, and many very quaint old buildings are torn down to put up town homes (Or cracker boxes as we jokingly refer to them), often four on the same lot.
Desaturated and very gently adjusted tone.
The shot was hand held, though I might have been able to get away with a very slightly higher f-stop...
Camera: Canon EOS XTi
Shutter: 1/100s
Aperture: f/5.0
Iso: 800
Tripod: no

A higher aparture value in conjunction with a longer exposure (use tripod) and you can get a more even sharpness. Now there are blurry areas which distracts slightly.
The overexposure was also mentioned.

The position of the window is at eye level and my tri-pod isn't that tall, unfortunately. I do wish I had used a slightly higher aperture, though the exposure setting was intentionally a little high because I wanted to ensure that the inside wall showed up... I'm not sure whether the effect was worth it ;P but I'm learning. Of course, a higher ISO would have helped both problems, but then the image would have come out a little grainy.
Thanks again, and keep it up. I'm really enjoying coming back to real constructive responses.
Cheers,
Aaron
